    v1 v2
    1111   1. U-Boot / Serial Console using tftp, ftp, etc
    1212   1. mtd ( upgrade from OpenWrt or any other distro supporting MTD )
    13    1. TP-Link Webinterface in original firmware
     13   1. TP-Link Web Interface in original firmware

    1515Basically all methods supported and described by OpenWrt for the [http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd TL-WR1043ND] are usable for DebWrt, since DebWrt of course uses a slightly patched OpenWrt kernel/firmware.

    4141==== Flashing DebWrt ====
    4242
    43 See [wiki:DebWrtTplinkTLWR1043NDBootlog DebWrt boot log on TP-Link WR1043ND].
     43Start minicom before poweron the device. When the message "Autobooting in 1 seconds" is displayed, quickly type 'tpc' to interrupt the boot process. Next load the DebWrt firmware using TFTP and flash it.

     53
     54See [wiki:DebWrtTplinkTLWR1043NDBootlog DebWrt boot log on TP-Link WR1043ND]. It shows the output of the entire re-flash and boot procedure.

     57=== MTD ===
     58
     59If you have already have OpenWrt on another OS running with MTD support, flash a new firmware by:
     60
     61{{{
     62scp user@host:debwrt-firmware-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin .
     63mtd -r write debwrt-firmware-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin firmware
     64}}}
     65
     66===   TP-Link Web Interface in original firmware ===
     67
     68Theoretically it should be possible to load the _debwrt-firmware-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr1043nd-v1-squashfs-factory.bin_ into the default webinterface. However I did not succeed. I first installed a stock OpenWrt firmware and used the MTD method described above.
