    1 Requires integration of patches 000,001&002 from http://www.znau.edu.ua/temp/asus-rt-n16/2011-02-13T23-17/ Currently testing how to integrate patches into debwrt build.
     1The RT-N16 is now supported for testing purposes

    3 Advice: Focus on http://wiki.openwrt.org/inbox/asusrt-n16 and even more on http://wiki.openwrt.org/inbox/asusrt-n16/wip

    5 Great thanks for the advice, while those two pages aim to bring about long term support for this device these patches are the solution in the present time . I have accomplished creating a stable openwrt build based upon revision 26126 with the above patches. How can I change the debwrt settings to retrieve build 26126 instead of the latest?
     8   * robocfg is used to configure the manageable switch ( /etc/init.d/robocfg ) - not yet working

    7
    8 Present time for Openwrt is revision 26869. A {{{make openwrt/update}}} will bring you to that Openwrt revision.
    9 In other words: The request ''How to go back?'', is seen. The answer is ''Go forward!''
    10
    11 This is untested, poorly written, but might answer the [*] question.
    12 {{{
    13 # do a succesfull build of debwrt, assuming in /usr/src/debwrt
    14 cd /usr/src/debwrt/build/openwrt-brcm47xx-Broadcom-b43-trunk-default
    15 svn info # shows that openwrt had more then seven hunderd commits since r26126
    16 svn diff > debwrt_patches
    17 patch -Rp0 < debwrt_patches # undo the debwrt changes
    18 svn update -r26126
    19 svn info # shows that you are at revision 26126
    20 patch -p0 < debwrt_patches # re-apply the debwrt changes
    21 # find a way to trigger the build of the openwrt part of debwrt
    22 }}}
    23
    24 About the [*]: Frankly, I think it is a '''stupid question'''.
    25
    26 If I was stakeholder for the ASUS RT-N16, I would build a recent OpenWRT image.
