insserv warns about LED init scripts corrupt or invalid

Reported by: cromo@… Owned by: amain
Priority: minor Milestone: milestone:
Component: other Version: 2.0
Severity: severity 4 Keywords: init led script dependency corrupt invalid
Cc:

Description

I get following warnings when apt does something init-related:

insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rc0.d/K03led
insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rc0.d/K99stop-led
insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rc2.d/S03led
insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rc2.d/S99stop-led-flashing
insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rc6.d/K03led
insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rc6.d/K99stop-led
insserv: warning: script is corrupt or invalid: /etc/init.d/../rcS.d/S03led

It has only appeared after migrating the init scripts to dependency based boot.
The result, as expected, is that the power/wifi LEDs are not blinking.

Scripts needs to be converted to the inssrv format.

Power led can be enabled by "echo 1 >/proc/diag/led/power", however doing the same for wlan doesn't work (echo 1 >/proc/diag/led/wlan).

Sorry for the late reaction. The powerled is managed by the wireless driver. At least I couldn't make it work via /proc.
